movie night!!

As many people know I am addicted to curling up on the sofa with my duvet and watching movies. It has some how gotten its way into my daily routine. Nothing is better than having the fire lit at an orange glow and a cup of tea in my hand while watching a good rom-com or comedy.
Some comedy/ rom-coms to consider watching:

Max Factor's False Lash Effect Mascara

 

So I have been using this mascara for a while and it seems to be lasting quite a long time! Without mascara my eyelashes are like non existence and they appear to be straight -.-. So finding a good mascara that curls my mascara and keeps them that way throughout the day is a long and hard process.

Advantages

• No clumping
• Easy to apply
• Small brush so its easy to get to the corners
• Only need about one or two coats for a natural look
• Three to four layers add a dramatic and full look

Disadvantages

• Hard to get off
• Once taken off it leaves panda eyes
• Leaves a smudge of black on the bottom of eye
• Eyelashes fall flat after a couple of hours (for me anyway)

MaxFactor Face Finity All Day flawless 3 in 1

This is a review on the foundation MaxFactor Face Finity All day flawless 3 in 1. I purchased it from Boots. It cost me £11.99 (or 1,199 points if you have a boots card!). I have a problem with my makeup staying on all day because it usually comes off within the first 3 hours of my day so when I saw this and it said 'all day flawless' I thought I would try it out.

 

The product itself, is quite liquidy in texture, which makes it easy to apply and smoothen into the skin. It consists or a primer, concealer and foundation. This also contains SPF 20 which is always good! I got the shade 'natural 50'. The foundation itself looks so much more lighter in the tube then on your face! You need to apply this to your neck if it looks too dark on you, (I learnt that the hard way-.-)

 

 

One pump of this isn't enough to cover the whole of your face. It's over priced for what it is, however if you are going out for an hour or two then this would be ideal if you want a matt coverage. If you are planning on being out all night then be sure to bring it with you in your bag for touch ups!
